Amalie Black: The Full Biography

Amalie Black is an interesting case.

Bastard child of two Death Eaters, the insane Bellatrix Lestrange, loyal follower of the Dark Lord, and Severus Snape, loyal agent of Dumbledore himself. Conceived when the two of them were in a drunken escapade. An interesting tale, when all told, interesting enough that Death Eaters automatically dismissed such claims for being too outlandish, and so she lives.

However, Snape had feared for her life, and decided to hide her away, as the young Potter was. There it was that she fell into the hands of John and Carmella Fabray An American a catholic couple living in the upper east side of Manhattan, who knew nothing about the wizarding world and the events inside it.

And so the Child of Severus Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange, bloodlines of two of the Dark Lord’s most loyal followers merged, was raised as Christina Fabray, a God fearing child until she reached her eleventh birthday.

And that, my friends, is how her story begins

@HERMIONE (REPLY)

She was daydreaming again. Just like what she normally did when she was bored. Elisabetta was so wrapped up in her own thoughts that she had not realized she had just been bumped by another person, which rattled her brain back into reality.

”Oh! I am so sorry!”  An unfamiliar voice had spoken in surprise. She observed the girl and realized that it had been none other than her fellow housemate, Hermione Granger. She hadn’t exactly been in contact with the other female opposite her, but she had been seated next or behind her during the most classes she was in and remembered her enthusiasm that had most of the time tend to tick her off in annoyance.

Oh joy. Just what I need. She thought not at all pleased by the abrupt and completely unplanned meeting. She wanted to get out of here and flee by the heel as soon as possible. But the girl had already taken the apology that she had meant to give herself, it would have been rude of her to simply ignore it.   “It’s quite alright… I wasn’t really looking where I was going either…” She had spoken feeling quite uncomfortable with the presence of another student. Its funny how she’s been here for six years and still has healed isolated attributes towards her housemates.

But she guessed that the universe was giving her an exception today.  “Um, Hermione Granger right?  My name’s Em…”  She had stopped immediately once she had remembered she was going to speak it again. It being the name which has been extinct for the past four years now. “Elisabetta. Elisabetta Black.” Clearing her throat slightly as she spoke it. This was going to get some taking used too.

I’M GOING HOME: HarryPotter-Role-Play-:Amalie Black: PRAY

She had never been one to pray.

She had never been one to pray. Despite coming from a religious background, Amalie (or Christina back then) has never done it willingly; at least. She used to consider herself an atheist but never let her adoptive parents figure it out anyway. So she had only done those acts of prayer by force. And not by her own consciousness by the very  least. Gladly, they had never even guessed their only daughter to be an atheist. If they had ever found out; they would have burned her like a witch if they did.

Burn her like a witch… she chuckled lightly at the thought and had found this a rather suitable pun at the moment. For as it so happens, she just happens to be a full pledged breed of one ever since she had refused to obey to her parents wishes not to go to Hogwarts. And her parents could burn her like one any time if they had wanted to But seeing as though she was no longer under their ‘care’- she was safe.

For now.

She had thought that leaving her controlling father and overbearing mother would have done her some good. Escaping from her reality had seemed like the only solution. But only to find that going to Hogwarts had healed more of a reality than it was a dream. With all this commotion and losses and self discovery she had never wished to know, turning back time seemed impossible at the moment. And sometimes, they say that to cure a badly broken heart… or soul, the best remedy would have to be; Prayer.

She had never been one to pray, but with everything considered, this was an exception.

Amalie drew the covers away from her body, and once again she had found herself in a familiar position. Knees bent as they touched the floor, hands folded and pressed together with her head bent down and her eyes closed as she began to pray.

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name…
